Frequently Asked Questions

Every bottle is prepared with human touch and precision. We follow the rhythm of nature, ensuring that each ingredient is handled with the respect it deserves.
Purity is non-negotiable. We travel any distance to find the right source. Many of our primary herbs, like Aloe Vera and Panikoorka, are grown on our own. For others, we buy directly from organic farmers and local collectors rather than buying from bulk commercial markets.
We believe that what you put on your body should be as safe as what you put in it. The base of our hair oil is pure, copra oil sourced from trusted local mills - the exact same oil we use in our own home kitchen. No mineral oils, no paraffin, and no synthetic fillers.
We don't use high heat to save time, which can kill the vital nutrients in herbs. At Ilanji, we use a traditional slow-cooking method. By simmering the oil on a gentle flame for several hours, we allow the oil to deeply absorb the essence of the herbs without burning them. It’s a process of patience that results in a more potent, effective oil.
Quality over quantity. Small-batch production allows us to maintain control over every step. It ensures that the product you receive is fresh, potent, and made with the same attention to detail.
Our commitment to the earth is reflected in our sourcing, by supporting organic farmers, avoiding pesticides, and focusing on small-batch production. We prioritize ethical sourcing and methods that respect the natural ecosystem.
Since we use real botanical ingredients—fruits and flowers—the color is entirely natural. The color may sometimes deepen, and the consistency might be different. This is a sign that our ingredients are active and free from synthetic color-stabilizers. This is a result of natural merging and settling.
Because nature doesn't use a color palette. Since we refuse to use synthetic dyes or stabilizers, our preparations reflect the biological rhythm of the botanicals used in that specific micro-batch. Whether it's light beige or deep beige, it is simply the naturalness of a living formulation—it’s a sign of Ingredient Integrity.

This is the "settling phase" where the plant extracts merge and mature. Much like a fine wine or a traditional infusion, the color shifts as the active molecules settle, but the structural performance remains exactly the same from Day 1 to Day 365.
By using natural preservation methods and focusing on the synergy of the ingredients, we ensure a stable shelf life without relying on harsh artificial preservatives.
